Good morning/afternoon/evening!! This is only a quick post, because it’s a bit chaos at the moment, but something is better than nothing (usually!), and here it is!
Last week, I was mucking out my beautiful mare Mackenzie’s paddock, and when I was dumping the manure I saw a raven that seemed a bit unusual. On closer inspection, I found it couldn’t fly and it looked quite ill. I went home and told Mum, but we were very busy that day and it slipped our minds briefly. Very soon after, Tobbin arrived in the yard, and we realised he/she needed some help, so Mum called a wildlife carer. Mum dropped it off, and it turned out Tobbin had a wound on his back and an infected beak. He or she will be okay though!😁

While we’re on the subject of wildlife rescue, Dad went for a run the other morning and found a possum on the road. The poor girl had been recently hit by a car, and she had a joey in her pouch. Dad brought her back, and while she had died on impact to her head, the joey was still wriggling around in her pouch. We couldn’t really see the joey, but it was lively, and Mum wrapped them in a towel to stay warm. We called the local wildlife vet, and dropped them off. Little poss should be fine hopefully🤞🏼💛☺️
I made this last week when we were feeling like a nice warm stew for dinner, and this is what happened! It’s very yummy, based off a recipe by goodfood. I think it’s worth making – we all loved it! You can mix around the spices to suit you! And it would probably freeze well… though it didn’t last long enough for that in our house! Note: This is a very small blog and I do not have any recipe testers, so I cannot guarantee the success of any of my recipes working, however I only publish if I am happy with it, and if you would like to be a tester you would be more than welcome! I always love feedback! Happy cooking! Apricot Lamb Casserole

Just a quick one today! FYI you might not hear anything for a couple of weeks (busy!!), but hope it was fun! Love, Amarylli🩵🐴
